Minutes of the Extra Ordinary meeting of the Parish Council held at Morcott Farm, Wednesday 22 January, called by the Chairman
Councillors present: Cllr R Johnson – Chairman, Cllr J Johnson, Cllr N Mason, Cllr A Pywell – Vice
Chairman.
The proposed co-optee, Mr Ian Metcalfe, also present.
Meeting commenced at 7.45pm
1.0 Welcome remarks by Chairman
Chair welcomed all present.
2.0 Apologies (19/31)
None
3.0 To co-opt new member (19/32)
The Chairman introduced Mr Ian Metcalfe, who has been instrumental over the past years in promoting activities within the Village.
Candidate proposed by Cllr R Johnson and seconded by Cllr J Johnson. All members in favour.
All necessary forms handed to Cllr Metcalfe for completion and return to the Clerk
4.0 Finance (19/33)
4.1 The Chairman explained he and Cllr Pywell have access to online statements.
4.2 The Chairman recommended all Cllrs be signatories for the account. This was seconded by Cllr Pywell and accepted by all members. All necessary forms to be completed by the Chairman. Those members who do not have a Lloyds bank account need to produce relevant identification.
4.3 Income and Expenditure account discussed and agreed by all members.
4.4 A cheque for £257.60 for the annual insurance was signed.
4.5 A letter had been received from Scredington Parochial Church Council requesting a donation towards the maintenance of the Churchyard. The Council agreed to donate £500. Cheque given to Cllr Pywell to be presented to the PCC. A letter to be sent by the Clerk.
No other business. Meeting closed at 8.05pm.
